Very Busy PSA Public Friday

I have been going to just about every PSA Public Friday for several years now. I usually go during my lunch breaks from work and there is usually just a couple of customers there with 2 or 3 PSA reps. There is usually no waiting, just walk in drop off cards and back to work I go.
Today, was the busiest I have ever seen. There was actually a small line just to submit cards and PSA had to bring out more reps to help people out. They even brought some chairs for people to sit down. The also accept coins (for PCCG), so not everyone was submitting cards. I sat by between two people who were both joining PSA right there on the spot. Not sure if it was a fluke thing or if PSA is getting the word out about their services.
I just thought it was interesting.

In the "old days" of PSA Public Saturday, you could drop off your cards and pick them at the next PSA Publc Saturday (if they were ready). I LOVED that deal since it saved money on return shipping. I was told that due to increase in submission, they no longer have the space to store the cards for a month, therefore I have to pay for return shipping.
<< <i>I'm still holding out for PSA Canada, when they open an office in Canada, so I don't have to ship my cards through customs. I can dream too

That service exists
<< <i>No benefits other than saving money on shipping cost and getting to meet some of the nice PSA folks. They usually have some SMR magazines available and some card saver if you need them. Much like the card shows.

I also saw a gentleman counting signatures on an old looking baseball that he was submitting to PSA/DNA for the first time.
As I was handing in my cards, I was sitting next to a guy asking about joining PSA and the services. He had a stack of probably 25-30 old 50's cards.
I know it is a very small sampling, but this seems to happen every month I go. There is still some good stuff out there.
