Big weekend for football NFL?

Some big matchups that will show us if certain teams are pretenders or for real...

Any weekend where the Broncos get a chance to beat up the Raiders is a "big" weekend, IMHO.

I am looking forward to the day (if it ever happens) when the Broncos pull ahead of the Raiders in victories in their series with each other.

This is a good test for the Eagles coming off an easy Monday night win, then a huge win against the Cowboys. Could be a little bit of a letdown game here for the Eagles players. Fortunately, the Eagles are a better football team than the Saints, so I'm hopeful they can still get the win.

    Better how?

I think the Saints take this game, as they are a lot better than people think. The 1-2 punch of Deuce and Bush is tough, Brees is playing well, and the Saints D is going to make life tough for philly all day.

Another loss for the Bucs to the bengals this week.

Another sure loss this week for the texans as well...Dallas will come out and crush them.

I sure hope so. Although I cant help but think of the Texans first NFL game/win when they beat the Cowboys

  • saints are very underrated, they have some big time playmakers at key postions...

Their defense is very underrated as well. They got some players that can make big time plays, plus the superdome will be rocking as usual

Lots of blowouts on the card this weekend. Five games with spreads of 10 pts or more. Can Dallas cover the 13 pt spread? TO looks like he's initiated Operation Mutiny already, as now he says he can't trust his coach--what a clown. I like Houston with the points, especially with Bledsoe playing as poorly as he has.

Thats laim, it sounds like you are ready to assume the position....calling the Saints a good team isn't going to make the pounding
any easier. Comboys gave you presents all night and still had a chance to win it. You choked away one big lead and you are
having to play at Tampa bay very soon....this isn't looking good.

A real fan would say that the eagles rock and the Saints have no chance, but you know your team just isn't that good.

smart move, it only goes downhill from here!

I call 'em as I see 'em. Good or bad for the Eagles. I'm not "guaranteeing" a win like I did against the Cowboys, but I think the Eagles will win the game. The Saints are playing well but just a feeling that might not continue for the whole season. They've been pumped with the getting their stadium back, etc., but sooner or later that adrenaline wears off.

By the way, did you see the early betting line on the Eagles - Bucs game next week? Eagles are favored by 57 1/2 points.
