The Madness Starts Tonight...

College Hoops gets underway tonight, it would be interesting to know which team everyone here roots for. I'm the die-est of die hard fans of the Loyola Ramblers.

I know they've come to be seen at the NCAA hoops equivalent of the Yankees, but when I started watching the game, the Yankees doppelganger in the ACC was UNC and I've always liked Duke as a counterbalance.
I was an undergrad at Trent University in Peterborough, but they don't even have a basketball team. I did my M.A. at Queen's (and my wife is a graduate too) so therein lies my allegiance.
Don't tell me you are a rich kid who went to Western, Aro? Or worse....U of T?

Carew - Azusa Pacific is the last team I would have expected to show up in a question like this. My niece is a junior down there. Nice to hear from someone else that attended or roots for APU.

St. Bonaventure, eh. Not sure, but wasn't it Bob Lanier (or some other centre from that era) who went to St. Bonnie?
Those Mac guys were always a bit crazy. Many years ago I was out at Trent for the annual Head-of-the Trent rowing regatta. There is a bridge that passes over the Otonabee River and links the two sides of the Trent campus. Two guys thought it would be fun to jump off the bridge and into the river below....nothing too unusual about that except they did so naked. The police picked them up when they swam to shore. They were from Mac.

DUCK FUKE!
I second that:
And I also agree they won't be very good this season. They don't have much compared to past seasons. They'll probably be .500 in the Big 10 and lose in the first round of the NCAA. Hey, wait a minute. Izzo was able to do that with last year's team, and that team only had 3 players drafted by the NBA.
