solid Photo contest #3 - American Silver Eagle 20th Anniversary coins!

It's been awhile since I've done a photo contest. Since the Mint has begun shipping the
American Silver Eagle 20th Anniversary sets, and the coins should be virtually the same
from one set to the next, I thought this might make for a good contest.

Here are the rules:

1) The voting will be for "your favorite photo/composition", so let's see some creativity here!

2) Your photo/composition must include at least a portion of all three coins in the set (Unc, Proof, Reverse Proof).

3) Your entry should be a single .JPG image file with a maximum size of 800x800 pixels.

4) You cannot post your entry elsewhere on these boards prior to the voting.

5) Do not post your entry to this thread - PM or email your entry to: ken@solidcoin.com (Please include your User ID so I can keep things straight)

6) I won't set a deadline for entries yet - we'll see how the deliveries go for these sets.

The winner will have bragging rights and be awarded a fabulous prize, to be determined at a later date.

I'm sure this contest will create a huge dilemma for all of you collectors leaving your sets in the original shipping boxes - oh well! image

Good luck, and let the fun begin!

DOH! I posted pics already but I'll think of something creative for the contest rather than the standard shots. Cool contest.

Got my 5 sets of Silver Eagles and they are flippin' beautiful! I really like the photo contest idea. I can't take photos at the moment as my Fiance is visiting her Mom and has my camera. BTW, the way, after seeing how some folks had issues with opening the boxes or not (for grading purposes), I went ahead and ordered 4 more sets individually. Since I know what my new 5 look like, I can put the others away unopened as they arrive. Best to all.

I updated Rule #5 to indicate that you should not post your entry to this thread.

I will maintain a list of entries received in the original post.

    Thanks, Mesquite!

There's no deadline as of now...just bringing it up for folks that may not have seen it the first time around.

If you can figure out how to do it, I would love to see a mental image image

Wow! I've killed a few threads over the years but I didn't know that I could kill an entire photo contest.

Time to bring this to the top again. What? Did my photographic prowess run y'all off? No worries, I've seen my entry and it is really not that good.

My last attempt at getting more response to solid's thread of October 13th. Read the rules and submit a photo not yet posted on the boards. To all - have a happy and properous New Year.
