Uncirculated with "W" mintmark
I've got a couple of questions that I hope the informed and wise membership here would be able to answer:
* Do we know yet if these coins will be offered every year from now on?
* If so, won't the first year issue be a "key" year? I'm assuming that not many people know about these and folks will start collecting the Silver/Gold/Platinum "W" Uncirculated series.

For example, look at the modern commemoratives... 1982-2006, the key coins are generally from 1995-1997
Same with Proof Silver Eagles, 86-2006, the big years are 93-97
42/92
<< <i>Just because it's the first year does not make it a key date... it just makes it the first year of issue...

I agree that the first year of issue does not necessarily equal key date. But, it does sometimes. To counter your two examples, I present the 1999 Silver Proof Sets
Hence my question. Do we have another such alignment of the planets, i.e. first year and not many people knowing about these.
They were the not the first year of issue, just the first year with State Quarters.

I know.... hence the smiley face
But the example is valid when referring to the quarters
Sorry, but I don't see it as a vaild argument, I see it as a fluke. Just look at the first half-dollar and dollar commemoratives issues as well as the bullion coins mentioned earlier. People tend to flock to a new a new Mint issue.
