PCGS mint error listed on holder of dropped letter quarter

I have posted the pics of the coin and the closeup of the dropped R before but some of you wondered if PCGS included the "mint error" designation on the holder. Here's the picture of the holder... fun coin.

That's a very cool error coin. If I'm not mistaken, these are caused by grease or some other foreign material getting compressed into the die, then falling out and creating the incuse impression on the next strike.
Does that mean the strike prior to it falling out might appear as a missing "R". It would be uber-cool to find that coin and have the before and after.

You're correct on how the error occurs... and wouldn't it be nice to have the quarter missing the R.
