Question on Posting Photos to Registry

I have a collection that I would like to post on the set registry. My problem is with the photos. I am new to all this, having just purchased my first digital camera about 2 months ago. The camera in question is a Nikon Coolpix P4, 8.1 megapixels. I took pictures of my coins and tried to post them to my registry set but was rejected because the photos were too large, between 3 and 4 MB. The limit apparently is 100K. How can I reduce the size of the photos so that they will post? The software has a feature where I can reduce the picture for email, but that only gets it down to about 150K. Help! What can I do so that I can post pictures? (Remember, I am new at this.) Thanks!
David

The software I use to transfer to photos from my camera to my computer is PictureProject. I cannot find anything in that program to resize. I also have the photos stored in "My Pictures" in Windows. From there I can reduce the picture down to about 150K, but no further.
