Question for you OFEC collectors

ajaanajaan Posts: 18,026 ✭✭✭✭✭
I am writing an article for out club newsletter and I would like to know how many different countries you have in your OFEC collection. Thanks.

For those who don't know: OFEC = one from every country

    I'm currently sitting at 231

That's not counting German, Italian, or Swiss states or the like.

593 coin-issuing entities. That includes German States, Italian States, Swiss cantons, Mexican states, ancient Greek city-states...

I like to keep my definition of "country" as broad as possible. The more the merrier, I say! image My old coin database "maxed out" at 500 countries, so I had to upgrade it... image

I got a little burned out on the OFEC and gave up on it (for now). I found it frustrating after awhile...I may go back to it someday, but not right now.

I'm using only MODERN 20-21st Century Countries and have about 200 on my list. So far I have 107 of the 200 on my list.
