Floridians...coin tax question?

Reading disclaimer on internet auction site from a seller located in Florida, it said;
"No Sales Tax on U.S. made coins sold, 6% Sales Tax due on all Foreign coins and all other collectibles sold to residents of Florida."
If I buy from a internet seller within my own state, I pay taxes on those US Coins, but sellers I buy from outside the state our state tax is exempt. In other words, no state taxes for my state are collected from sellers outside the state lines. I'm curious, has Florida deemed taxes on US Minted coins unconstitutional or something?

Frankly, I find this "use" tax absolutely obsurd. It's not that the state wants the tax money, it's that they don't want you to have money. (As you have to pay the difference in sales tax. If you go someplace with 4% sales tax, CT wants that other 2% of the purchase price. Yet if you go someplace with 8% sales tax they won't refund the difference). So if Florida has a similar "tax" then it means that they'll come after you if it's large enough. Here in CT I don't plan on ever claiming any 'Use' tax EVER.
Most states require in state purchaces to collect sales tax, the exception could be a purchace for resale ie. a dealer
Some states like Maryland require a minumim purchace, MD is 200 bucks. And some states like MD go even farther and require you to have a MD tax number...kinda bogus if you flew in from CA and find out you gotta have a MD tax number or pay the Govenor....
There is a Federal loop hole created by some very thoughtful coin collectors involved in Gov early on...Numismatic purchaces over 1000 bucks are tax exempt for everyone anywhere in the USA.
so there you have it drop a grand and save 4 - 8%
