Actually, I'm not going to talk any smack. For one thing, there is still the Padres. I do think business will be taken care of tomorrow by Chris Carpenter. But that means Jeff Weaver will go Wednesday against the Mets. I say the Mets will either sweep or win in 5. Just my honest opinion.

SD and STL have absolutely zero chance against them.
<< <i>Congrats to the Mets, and their true fans.

And the Tigers had NO chance!!!
IF the Tigers get past the A's, that will be the case when the Mets slap them around like their redheaded stepdaughters.
After all, can you guys really afford the city to be lit on fire again by your "fans"?

I do not live in the city, and if it burns down, so be it. I have seen it before, and that is just a few stupid dolts who cannot handle a real celebration. And we's imbred losers in Detroit know how to party!
Whether we get past the A's or not, we beat the Yankees, and we had NO shot whatsoever! Tell me I heard wrongly or indifferent as to what I have heard all week long! I can bet, the A's will give us much better competition. And yes Jim Leyland, we do belong!!!!
Edited to say, the Pistons won a couple years ago, city did not burn down, the Wings won 3 cups recently, and it did not burn down, oh well, keep up with your New York media, and do not look beyond what is real or not!!!
I guess those video feeds from Detroit showing cars being overturned and shops lit on fire were just staged for the next action movie then.

Why don't you take a look at where that feed came from, and how recent it was. I'm willing to bet it's from the 80s pistons championships? But then, when did you concern yourself with FACTS, right moron?
Actually, dipchit, there were very bad riots back in '84 the last time the Tigers won. But what are you implying by stating that with regard to those riots that you are "willing to bet it's from the 80s pistons championships"? You seem to be implying that those riots were understandable because they were basketball team championships and so that's what we should expect from Black fans. Are you racist, too, Axhole, under all that venom? No wonder you hate NYC.

Edited to say, it has nothing to do with racial anything, but perhaps we in Detroit have learned how to celebrate championships beyond what a few dumb arses did two decades ago!!
Cool avatar Kuhlmann!
They're shaping up pretty great.
