But don't worry he's the greatest player in the game.
3 runs in the last 2 games? It can't all be his fault, can it?
<< <i>In the playoffs he is 0 for 17 with runners in scoring position and two out - a major league record >>
No, it's not all his fault...just most of it.
<< <i>It can't all be his fault, can it? >>
No of course it's not his fault alone. The pitching sucked in games 3 and 4, and the wonder team batting order went scoreless for like 19 innings. Only Jeter, Abreu, and Posada came to play.

17 at bats is hardly a fair sample size...and you're right, he is the greatest.
Thanks for finally admitting that.
<< <i>17 at bats is hardly a fair sample size >>
Just how many ABs in the playoffs with runners in scoring position and two out do you want for it to be fair?

17 at bats is not exactly a sample size you can base any results on....how about 100 at bats?
To get a sample size of 100 ABs in the playoffs with runners in scoring position and two out you would likely have to appear in 100 playoff games.
<< <i>Dummy, what don't you understand? The stat is that he's 0 for 17 in the playoffs with runners in scoring position and two out.

I am sure I could take a stretch of jeter's at bats in the same situation and find 17 consecutive where he was hitless...so your preaching and whining about this tiny little sample size is ridiculous.

Try it...for real, back up your talk. no way Jeet goes on an 0 for 17 strech like that.
Go ahead, you talked it, now walk it!
