Today was 10/6

No AGE sets yet, eh? One of my orders that has shown "in process" for a while had it's "cancel order" button disappear so I think it has had the shipping label printed out and stuck to the box.

The other set had been on hold while I played countless credit card games. I finally told the bank that if they couldn't clear the charge without the US Mint having to call them for manual authorization (for a charge that was less than 10% of the credit limit) that the credit line was useless and I was leaving. I wasn't going to try to tell the US Govt how to do business...well within 30 minutes that one went to "in process" and in another hour or two its cancel button was gone.

I always get the coins before I get the e-mail telling me they've shipped and it seems they ship fedex the night before. So it looks like they didn't go out for 10/6 delivery. Fedex doesn't do Saturday delivery for free unless they're sucking up to the mint--which they appear to be with all these orders...so it might happen tomorrow. More likely monday since monday isn't a holiday for Fedex. If you DO get Columbus day off (like I do) don't forget and go to work. That's always embarassing.

Cheers,
Jerry

Oh that stinks that Monday is a Federal Holiday. I have work, and Monday is usually the big package day for APO mai. (American Post Office-US Post Offices special for gov't employees outside the US). Getting the mail is one of the treats at work.
