Now that the Twins are out....are the Tigers now the "CINDERELLA" team?

Quite honestly, I never thought the Tigers would be at this point!
When the Twins won the Division on the last day, a local station
(someone in the know I guess) had mentioned the possibility
of a SWEEP! Little did they know that their prediction was going
to be correct. except they got the team wrong!
I am a Twins fan and I salute them for their great season. Maybe
a little overconfident, but, probably more underestimating those
Oakland A's!
Now I go back to rooting for the Tigers as I am originally from
Detroit. I hope the Tigers can pull off the improbable!

It was a great year for them, running so hot for so long...but not having Liriano in the playoffs really hurt. I suspect they'll be a force next year as well.

<< <i>the NL team is the Cinderella team, whichever one makes it. The AL dominates, and I expect the AL team to win again this year. >>
Normally I'd not call the Mets a Cinderella, but with the injuries to their pitching, maybe so.

I HATE the Mets. But I LOVE Willie Randolph .... good luck and lord willing and the creek don't rise ... the Yankees will be there!

Trust me, man, I'm rooting like hell for that to happen! It'd be a great Series, even better than 2000!
P.S. Let's go Wright! (And I don't mean David!)

The A's are reminding me of the D'Backs from 2001--enough pitching to do some serious damage.

<< <i>Maybe, but I've felt all year that the Mets had "the look". >>
the look of a team who collapsed down the stretch, and whose bats fell silent after they won the division?
collapsed? they had nothing to play for.. the real mets are showing up again! with there bullpen i see them as the favs to still win it all.
ps. axtell that is one ugly picture in your sig line!
not one of them has a complete team. St. Louis has 3 guys that can hit, one decent starter, no closer lol.
Dodgers are old, crippled and frail.
Mets have a great lineup but lack a lights out starter. They are the NL only hope. I think a Detroit, Mets series would be entertaining.
I hope the Yank Me's continue to crash and burn.

They've found ways to win all season.
