1992 Upper Deck Revolution! Please Read, guys!

I am so glad we are talking 92UD because this is the best way to not only find out how many have been damaged, BUT we can stir up attention to these gems which will result ultimately in a rising demand for them! I know alot of your guys don't like 92UD, but that is mostly because you don't understand what these cards represent. In my opinion, the future is on the side of the '92UD not the older bowman and topps cards some of you are so in love with. At the West coast card shows, I always see the Rare older cards just sitting in a glass case selling for something like $14,000 dollars and having people just look at them! DO THESE CARDS EVER GET SOLD? Heck, donate them to the Baseball hall of fame and stick the government with the bill at tax time, if your really want to sell them.

This is a set poised on the precipice of hobby history!

To go thru the roof!

So, buy up those cases that are sitting in the garages of lawyers, doctors and dentists all over the nation!

All that we ask...

Is that you give 92UD a chance.

    Stone,
I'm trying to corner the market on Pat Listach 92 Upper Deck RCs. I'm up to about 37 zillion, so if anybody has any graded or raw, I'm interested. I figure once I get them all, I'll slowly release them onto the market at a higher price.

Personally, I am just waiting for the financial explosion in the ’88 Donruss world, but I think I’ll keep it under my hat until this UD storm subsides.

We need to make sure this thread shows up in all of jgarci's searches so he can see that we're openly mocking him:

    1993 refractors
    93 refractors
    1993 Finest
    93 Finest
    refractors PSA
    1993 Finest refractors
    93 Finest refractors

There, that should do the trick.

Why don't a bunch of us put our $$ together and purchase a case of this before it's all gone.......possibly check with BCE to see if any are available.....maybe we could even meet there and split the case??

Ok here is the breakdown if we all want a box it will be $8.75 plus shipping.

If you cant afford to go in on a whole box, Which lets be real here I know a lot of us cant, including me.
we can break it down by pack

    18 packs would be $ 4.25
    9 packs would be $2.12
    4 1/2 packs would be $1.06
    2 1/4 packs would be $.53

92 UD were pretty cool looking. What are the odds of finding a Williams sig in those cases?

Because stone193 put up this thread, I knew it was in good taste. I had a good laugh. Its unfortunate that someone took it all wrong. That's a problem with the message board format. The context is not always clear and some people get offended when that was never the intent.

    Right on DG

This was just good ole parody.

jgarci had earlier made a pejorative remark about vintage and IMO, was a bit overzealous in his ironic appreciation of 93 refractors and I was just providing a parallel or should I say parallax view of his admiration.

Well, I already own a 1992 Upper Deck set, so I'll pass on this one. Besides, I like the 1993 set better; HUGE set, very attractive (especially the subsets), and still a bargain considering the RC of Mr. Jeter.

But as far as 1992 sets go, I think the Ultra set was the best. It's a very beautiful set, and at a bargin basement price. Ditto for all the other Ultra sets up to 1995. The Ultra 1996 set and onwards just got too plain and repitious in the design department. image

    Here's a little trivia question...

Is there any difference between the pack issue and set issue cards in the 92UD set?

Yes. Pack cards have silver holograms and factory set cards have gold holograms. Thank you, annual Beckett guide. image
