1992 Upper Deck Revolution! Please Read, guys!

I am so glad we are talking 92UD because this is the best way to not only find out how many have been damaged, BUT we can stir up attention to these gems which will result ultimately in a rising demand for them! I know alot of your guys don't like 92UD, but that is mostly because you don't understand what these cards represent. In my opinion, the future is on the side of the '92UD not the older bowman and topps cards some of you are so in love with. At the West coast card shows, I always see the Rare older cards just sitting in a glass case selling for something like $14,000 dollars and having people just look at them! DO THESE CARDS EVER GET SOLD? Heck, donate them to the Baseball hall of fame and stick the government with the bill at tax time, if your really want to sell them.
This is a set poised on the precipice of hobby history!
To go thru the roof!
So, buy up those cases that are sitting in the garages of lawyers, doctors and dentists all over the nation!
All that we ask...
Is that you give 92UD a chance.

"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
I'm trying to corner the market on Pat Listach 92 Upper Deck RCs. I'm up to about 37 zillion, so if anybody has any graded or raw, I'm interested. I figure once I get them all, I'll slowly release them onto the market at a higher price.

<< <i>Because stone193 put up this thread, I knew it was in good taste. I had a good laugh. Its unfortunate that someone took it all wrong. That's a problem with the message board format. The context is not always clear and some people get offended when that was never the intent. >>
Right on DG
This was just good ole parody.
jgarci had earlier made a pejorative remark about vintage and IMO, was a bit overzealous in his ironic appreciation of 93 refractors and I was just providing a parallel or should I say parallax view of his admiration.

loth
jgarci hasn't been bammed yet, but I imagine it will be happening sometime early Monday.
Stone, great spoof thread!
But as far as 1992 sets go, I think the Ultra set was the best. It's a very beautiful set, and at a bargin basement price. Ditto for all the other Ultra sets up to 1995. The Ultra 1996 set and onwards just got too plain and repitious in the design department.

Here's a little trivia question...
Is there any difference between the pack issue and set issue cards in the 92UD set?

Yes. Pack cards have silver holograms and factory set cards have gold holograms. Thank you, annual Beckett guide.
