<< <i>The poll is in email recieved from PCGS by people that have a set listed. >>
Well that stinks. I would like to vote, I do have a FB dime set but I have elected not to list it until it becomes a bit more complete. I probably have about 25% complete.
Thank you for your participation in our poll last week. The great majority of you voted to add the bonuses for FB dimes. Therefore, both the circulation strikes and mixed U.S. Complete dime sets now give 2 bonus points for full band Mercury and Roosevelt dimes.

Oh, hey Moe....I mean Paul, very funny....as my wife would say, "You know what I meant." Yuk, yuk, yuk; Wo, wo, wo, wo.
It's OK. I'm going for completion not points anyway. My goal is to be the first one done (100%) and see if PCGS will display it at a major show.
Wada ya think of that? >>
I think that is great Dimeman, but the problem with that is when you are 100%, PCGS will display your dimes 1796-1916 Barber, and look for another collection from 1916-Date with Full Bands!
This Full Band thing is always going to come between us.
First of all, there is no way I could afford to do all the Mercs and Roosey's in FB. Some of those bands cost thousands of dollars extra.
And second, I go by eye appeal and hair detail. I have seen FB Mercs with flat hair on obv. I would rather have the hair and no bands.
Sorry, Jon
PS: I still think this whole FB thing is about prestege AND points of course. Whereas I go by the overall look of the coin. I'm just not caught up in the FB craze. Sorry!: and NEVER will be.

It then will be consistant with the merc/roose dime series.

But I wonder if this is consistant with other complete series?

Great Idea, Drizzt. It would be better than a "*" designation.
