I picked this one up at the Cincinnati Ohio coin show this past weekend. I guess it was an impulse buy since I wasn't finding much of interest in the german states arena. The black junk on the portrait is a shame, but the overall appearance of the little minor is nice.

    Is the black junk more like pitting or a stain?

    If it's verdigris or just crud, it can be removed.

    Love the piece actually. Seems to have some cool repunching or re-engraving on the date as well...
