Something is not right about this auction. There doesn't appear to be any coin sales or purchases from this girl yet she is selling a high priced coin.
Well, I'm not sure if it's a hijacked account or not, but that phone number is registered to a John Knust of Sedalia, MO. If I were a betting man, which I'm not, I'd say it could be hijacked.
EDITED to add that it is entirely possible that there are more than one person in the household using the same eBay account, and that one of them collects beanie babies and the another collects coins.
It doesn't pass the smell test with me either. An MS-65 1969-S DDO cent would sell for at least $50K, why would this seller only want $10K? Even in AU-50 it's worth probably $20K. A test I use is: if it were my coin, what would I do with it? And the answer for this one is get it slabbed by PCGS, NGC, or if it has any problem preventing slabbing by either of those, ANACS. And after slabbing the price would be at least $20K. Would you take the time an effort to get one coin slabbed if it would get you another $10K? Thought so.

I strongly suspect hijacked. The ebayer was almost always a buyer, only selling one item. The account has been inactive for a year and now suddenly pops up selling two expensive items and buying car parts.
I think most auctions that list "will ship to" as N. and S. America, Europe, Asia, Australia are hijacked. I reported it to ebay...we'll see what happens

What is "hijacked" and how does that happen? I'm getting scammer emails via ebay with *nothing* listed right now and it is just too weird.

Hmm, maybe I'm biased because I (occasionally) sell mostly darkside, but I click all the boxes except Asia (but yes for Japan and frankly I'd probably ship to most Asian countries if the buyer had adequate feedback--it gives me a chance to screen feebacks), and Mexico. My private insurance company won't insure to Mexico so I figure they know something I don't. Hence not the "world wide" option.
Where shipping is limited to doesn't even cross my radar as a possible hijacked account. Of course the whole beanie baby to car parts thing is a little weird. Hopefully no one will think that about me this weekend when I list a couple of bicycle parts for my husband though .
I've found that ebay is very responsive to reports of fraudulent listings. They are usually removed within an hour or so. I've shut down many many many

Hijacked means that a scammer has gotten ahold of someone elses eBay ID and password (Often through those emails that you mention or a similar method.) and then use that account to sell as much non-existant goods, especially high value items, and collect the money but never send anything. All of the negs, anger, and troubles then get directed at the real owner of the account while the scammer runs off with the money.
