My first return to the mint.....

After buying coins from the mint for many years today was the first time I returned a set to the mint.I sent back a set of the 3 ...2006 Westward Journey Nickles for replacement.The case was cracked on one of the sets I ordered.

I had a good experience returning a bronze medal which had a black spot on the obverse. Called them up, they said send it back and even said they would reimburse shipping if I called back after the return was processed. Perhaps they would do the same for you? I never bothered to call back since it only cost a couple of dollars to ship and I was just happy to get it replaced. All my dealings with the mint have been positive ones.

I have had no problem returning items to the Mint. I returned 3 '06 proof sets because of scratches on the coins. They replaced the sets almost immediately.
