I am 95% sure that this is part of the same gang of
serial fraudsters.
They build FB and then strike hard and fast.
They have done it several times. All of the
listings have similar characteristics. The
PA addy is not the smoking gun; the terms
and language are.
There have been women involved/used in
all of the similar scams. There was some speculation
that there was either a mother or grandmother
who was being used for cover by one or more
teenagers. (My memory on those details is a
bit unclear.)

items. We recently removed all of this seller's active listings and have
suspended the seller's trading privileges. Due to privacy concerns we will not
be able to share further details related to this seller.
If someone claiming to be the seller asks you to complete a transaction outside
of eBay, we strongly recommend that you ignore the request. Transactions for
items listed on eBay that are completed outside of the eBay marketplace are not
covered by the Buyer Protection services offered by eBay and can be highly
indicative of fraud.
If you have not sent payment to the seller, we urge you to not proceed until you
are completely confident that the transaction will be completed safely. One
method for gaining confidence in the transaction is to request the seller's
contact information and confirm the transaction via telephone. For instruction

If you have already paid, you may wish to pursue recouping your funds. Some
steps you might take include:
1. Ask the seller for a refund
2. If you paid by check, ask your bank to stop payment
3. If you paid by credit card, contact your credit card company's security
department
4. If you have made a payment by money order or wire transfer, you may
contact that company for further information at 1-800-325-6000 (Western Union),
or at 1-800-926-9400 (Money Gram)

His language is now cleaned up a little. Maybe he went
to school on the last thread.
"I am sorry I cannot afford to pay" email.
If he is scamming, the last thing he wants as the
holiday season approaches is to trade NEGS.
If you seperate the 5 pack on the invoice, it is
within his $100.00 PayPal limit.
At this point I am not worried too much
about him not sending the cards. BUT, I feel
that I "know for sure" that the packs have
been "disturbed."
There are wrappers and boxes in this guy's
history, and he just knows too much about
searched packs. Even his screwball disclaimer
is a huge red-flag.
I would bail on this one.

Why is this guy allowed to put a limit on the
amount of PayPal he will accept, when they
said they would close my accounts if I tried
it?
His limits violate both EBAY's policy and PayPal's
rules.

He most likely won't leave you a neg because he would fear the retalitory neg that messes up his scam. You could even go as far to explain that someone tipped you off that his stuff is resealed, so if he leaves you a neg, you will do the same for him mentioning that his packs are reseals. No way he leaves a neg for you then, but holding FB hostage is kind of a scummy thing to do. But still, I wouldn't hesitate to do it with this type of guy.

Paypal with a Credit card is your safest recourse for payment.
A "Feeling Out" email explaining you've hit hard times(or whatever) would be a safe first step if you want to avoid at all costs.
He can't file a strike on you if you pay and he refunds it. You're following ebay and paypal rules. I sent ebay a complaint about his auctions not following ebay rules (with 3 or 4 days left IIRC) and they ignored it.
should flood EBAY with complaints, NOW.
The venue has known about this guy for
a very long time. They refused to listen
to a lot of experts, until AFTER a bunch
of buyers got ripped off.
PayPal and Credit Card complaints should be
filed immediately. The EBAY relief fund (about
$225.00 per transaction) may kick in IF enough
buyers complain NOW.
The ONLY way to stop this stuff is to show EBAY
that it is not profitable for them to allow it.
NARUing criminals after they have shafted people
is not the correct action. EBAY could have saved
a lot of buyers, but chose not to do so.

Pretty simple.
1. EBAY has been aware of this team for a
very long time.
2. EBAY refused to take action against the
team for a very long time.
3. Lots of peeps got ripped off.
4. After most of the horses had escaped from
the barn, EBAY decided to close the barn door.
5. Seller NARUd. Team is now free to move onto
other IDs and begin the process all over again.
This fact is a classic example of why feedback on ebay is an absolutely useless gauge as to the integrity or honesty of a seller.
