It looks a lot better than EF-45.

I know zilch about ancients - but it does look like a nice example of a 1700-year-old coin image

Wow, got the emperor wrong, and THEN got the dates wrong for the emperor name they did use. Impressive.

ding, ding, ding! Josh is correct. Now for part two, who is the emperor and what date should it be?

The dates for Gordian III would be correct. He reigned from 238-244.

aren't Gordian III coins much more common than Gordian I and II??

They sure are, Colin, but I read the legend as IMPCMAVRSEV ALEXANDAVG - that's Severus Alexander.

This is the second time I have seen an ICG slabbed Roman with the wrong Emperor listed on the slab!

Severus Alexander ruled from AD 222-235.

I thought ICG farmed out their ancient and medieval stuff to Allem Berman? He would never make a stupid error like this.

Roman coins are graded in house. Berman only gets the English hammered and other more esoteric coins.

Five coins were mailed to ICG from Buffalo, NY on Sept 21st and returned to the sender yesterday Oct 4th. That is less than 2 weeks total.
