Some of the boo birds were out at the end of the game last night. Give credit where it's due, though; San Jose looked pretty darned solid in that series, and they seem to have the Preds' number in the playoffs.
The thing I like about this year's playoffs is it will be a big deal for whatever team wins- with the exception of Detroit as they've won one within the last five years. The Sabres, Ducks, Sens, and Sharks have never won a Cup. If the Rangers win it will be one of the all time great turnarounds considering how putrid they've been in recent years.
Ok, I know that technically the Sens have won the Cup- but just not in the era of goalies wearing masks.
I've seen some crazy stuff here at Sabres and Bills games, but I've never seen anyone hit a woman. Great job by the police, knowing who the guys are but not charging them...

I've seen some pretty nasty stuff at games before. There was an all-out brawl involving about 30-40 people at a Lions /Packers game I went to before. I saw an entire high school bus of a visiting team get stoned as it was leaving the school, smashing out many of the windows. I had two guys threaten to take my coat before while at the Palace of Auburn Hills, watching a Michigan Fab 5 game years ago. Considering the element I was surrounded by, I likely wouldn't have given up much of a fight if they pressed the issue outside. The parking lot wasn't the safest place to be that night. Sports fans + alcohol and /or just plain stupidity can turn fun to ugly quickly. It happens at every kind of event. I still like to go, but you honestly have to watch yourself.
