This is not an easy decision and I hope to get some badly needed help here. There has been much contemplation on my part but I'm still in a quandary. I’ve been accumulating a shoebox full of used batteries to greet TO with. The box consists of AAA, AA and A size batteries. Certainly the A batteries, being the biggest of the three, would have better stopping power, but aerodynamically since the AAA batteries are lighter, then in theory they should travel farther. So the dilemma is what to bring? There is only so much room in my pockets.
I would hate to bring just the A batteries which could fall short of their target. But I would hate to hit the target with the AAA batteries, only to not have any discernable impact. Perhaps selecting the AA batteries would be the proper choice. I could bring a mixture but then possible run out of ammunition at a critical time. Oh the dilemma here!

btw-I do not in anyway condone the throwing of batteries, glass bottles, or ice cubes at players. This is all in good humor. Remember the San Diego-NYG's game from ehhh...around 1996-1997; the iceball throwing incident. Bad things can happen.

Maybe some of the less coordinated (and by less coordinated I mean drunk) 'fans' will throw batteries and hit other 'fans', thereby knocking them out.
<< <i>I am willing to bet a temporary jail will need to be set up to handle the 'real' fans in philly who throw crap on the field.

<< <i>Wow. The sad thing is, I bet you are not kidding. And, there will be a whole stadium full of nuts just like you. >>
Bring a car battery, and after your 15th or 16th beer run onto the field and hit him with that...no doubt you will hit your target and reach the desired affect.

Hey, I realize you are kidding. I just bet there will be a lot of people there Sunday that actually act out that kind of stuff.

It could happen but I of course hope not. I think sometimes bringing it out in the open in a humorous way can often prevent the problem. There will be plenty of booing, but I honestly believe there will be no incidents of violence or at least very, very few in which the police can quickly handle.

<< <i>Philly fan's hatred for T.O. always surprises me, considering he's no longer with the team. I would think you'd be thrilled to get rid of him-- and if you had to throw something would consider throwing roses at Jerry Jones' feet. If he was still with the team I could understand the animosity, but since he's no longer your problem I'd think you guys would have just let the whole thing go. >>
That's an interesting point - I never before had wished any former Eagle any ill will, and only rooted against former Eagle players when they played the Eagles, in the same way as I root against all players when they play the Eagles. But TO is an enigma for sure, and yes we are for the most part thrilled to get rid of him. TO without question is a team cancer, despite his talent which frankly is still there to a degree, but in my opinion due to age and injury isn't what it used to be.

Don't forget to particpate in the newest chant, "T. O. swallows!! T. O. swallows!!"
Even if they do I suspect a number of objects are going to slip through anyway.
Batteries, steel marbles, bolts and nuts..... yes it could get ugly.
I have been a season ticket holder for 15 years and have never witnessed anyone throwing anything but insults and the occasional fist -- guilty of both. Happens in every stadium I have been to (except DC because they may rip their cardigan or sweater vest) but we threw a snowball at Santa and were pegged ever since. We think it is funny that the media portrays us that way actually.

1420 is right. I read about nasty incidents by fans at other stadiums and it seems like those incidents are soon quickly forgotten. But it seems almost every stinkin' two-bit out of town sportswriter always brings up the "snowballs at Santa" incident in their articles.

I can't wait to see some of the posters brought by our fans. Wonder if TO will try to tearup a poster like he ripped a poster that one time? - LOL
He'll be laughing on the sidelines as the cowboys torch the eagles, while the fans go home dejected and drunk.
<< <i>You think TO really gives one passing thought to what the dipchit fans in philly think of him? The ones so jealous of his success?

Hey, we're not "fooled" by TO...we know he's primarily in it for the money as are ALL professional athletes. They're making a living for their families and themselves, and enjoying what the big money can buy. But after the money, the "glory" is still important to most of them, as well as fan support.
If you ever looked at TO's website, you would know that he does care what fans think of him to some degree. And of course his website is also about the money, but the boos on Sunday will affect him. With some rare players, boos actually make them play better...and TO may be one of those players.
Frankly, if TO has a good game and the Cowboys lose, that would be fine with me. If TO has a bad game and the Cowboys win, that wouldn't be fine with me. The perfect game of course would be bad performance by TO and a loss by the Cowboys. As Eagles fans, our major focus is going to be on the prize of getting the win.
TO could shatter every receiving record in the book for this season, and as long as the Eagles win the Super Bowl, I really couldn't care less about stinkin' Terrell Owens.

What success? He has no rings, has been ran out of 2 cities, and although being one of the most dangerous recievers in the game(no one imo matches his after the reception abilities); where has his mouth gotten him? Hell he couldn't even successfully OD.

What a heartless, cruel, and morally repugnant thing to say about a fellow human being. This is someone's life we're talking about here!
Oh...it was about TO - I like it!
Yes it could get ugly and something must be done about it. I think for this game it really needs to be mandated.....that unless a ticket holder's pocket or purse has a decent selection of batteries, steel marbles, bolts and nuts.....then that person should not be allowed into the stadium.
TO was laughing when he caught the 9 yard pass. One of three he had on the day.
