<< <i>You guys certainly rate the NL high. Whoever wins the AL championship will crush the NL champion in 5 games. At this point I pick the Yankees for the AL and the Dodgers for the NL. >>

The NL is weak, but the Mets can still come out of it, even with almost no starting pitching.

I'd love to see the Mets in the Series, but with the additions LA has made(a few infielders, Maddux, etc.) I think that team is the most well rounded.

<< <i>Yanks in seven and watching axtell cry when the yanks win >>
Axtell needs to learn that the opposite of love isn't hate-- it's indifference.
I'll take the A's over the Mets in 7.
I can see the drama on these boards...
Oh please let it happen.
Brain says Yankees will beat anyone the NL put up -- I'll say the Cardinals again.
Erik
Yanks win!!!
Axtroll suffers nervous breakdown (again)!!!
I gotta believe that eventually a star filled team will win it again.

<< <i>Indians over Royals in 6. >>
I can personally guarantee that the Royals will NEVER lose to the Indians in the World Series. Take that to the bank.
<< <i>did you relly say TWINS just afew minutes ago? Check ESPN...they are about to be down 2 games to none....good luck! >>

<< <i>Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! >>
When did Germany bomb Peal Harbor?
<< <i>When did Germany bomb Peal Harbor? >>
He was quoting John Belushi from the movie Animal House
Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...
[thinks hard]
Bluto: the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!
[runs out, alone; then returns]
Bluto: What the **** happened to the Delta I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my a** from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Wormer, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer...
Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these b*stards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.
D-Day: Let's do it.
Bluto: LET'S DO IT!
Oops, my bad..

<< <i>Tigers over Cards in 7 >>
1968 all over again? >>
That would be nice. After suffering with the Tigers the last few years its time they started gaining the respect this once proud franchise had.
They did spend money on some players however they also started developing players within thier own system and making smart moves in picking up guys like Guillen,Palanco and giving guys like Monroe and Thames a chance.
If you spend 200 million like the Yankees you better win or else.
The Red Sox
Whomever plays the Yankees
Anyone but the Yankees
