    You guys certainly rate the NL high. Whoever wins the AL championship will crush the NL champion in 5 games. At this point I pick the Yankees for the AL and the Dodgers for the NL.

    The NL is weak, but the Mets can still come out of it, even with almost no starting pitching.

    I'd love to see the Mets in the Series, but with the additions LA has made(a few infielders, Maddux, etc.) I think that team is the most well rounded.

    Like the gemmintman I predict that the All-Star lineup for the Yanks will take the Series.

    I gotta believe that eventually a star filled team will win it again.

    That would be nice.After suffering with the Tigers the last few years its time they started gaining the respect this once proud franchise had.
    They did spend money on some players however they also started developing players within thier own system and making smart moves in picking up guys like Guillen,Palanco and giving guys like Monroe and Thames a chance.

    If you spend 200 million like the Yankees you better win or else.
