I was trying to edit my registry set when......

It told me that Cert. # belongs, to another set?!?!?! How do I go about finding out who HAD it so I can ask them to delete it, so that I may ADD it to my set.

Contact BJ, she will be able to locate it and contact the other party; be prepared to supply her with pics of the slab in order to prove ownership.

The same thing just happened to me 2 hours ago. I used the customer service email link on the page.

Yup, happens all the time. People sell their coins but forget to delete them from their sets.

Yup happens all the time. Usually just an oversight. A simple email and the coins will be unregistered. Give it a day or two and you can add your new treasure!

The last time this happened to me, PCGS wanted an image emailed of the coin to show I was the rightful owner. After that it was cleared up quickly.

They have never actually asked me for this but I believe it is their policy to ask if they need proof.

If they can't reach the party who has the coin in their registry set, they'll ask for a picture for proof.
Just takes a few days to try to contact the other party.
Don't forget to email the cert # & coin type.
