Nice coin listed
Would that coin consider bu if the chop marks were not there?
I don't know chop marks at all, it looks like the marks are just a number or a chinese word, couldn't these marks be created today? especially in China.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask this question. And I am definitely not saying these chop marks are fake, I am just uneducated in this subject.

I'm sure that TDN could answer this question better than I can. Do I think its possible? Probably yes, but normally the value is less on a chopped Trade Dollar than a same grade non-chopped. No incentive to do it. Plus, you would probably have that "fresh silver" look in the chop.
