Still some good eBay sellers

I figure since I really harped on Colorado Mountain for being a lousy seller I'd better share a more successful bidding story. I' still putting the 70's decade of Twins Topps team sets together (1976-present just about complete). My purchase with Colorado didn't work out but there were a couple more 75 Twins lots on eBay. One was a team set advertised near mint and the other was a lot of 14 cards advertised near mint. Both lots came in the last few days and the team set was only marginally better than what CMS sold me but the lot of 14 purchased from surfcitycards was impressively near mint, mostly 7 & 8, and possibly one 9 if I ever slabbed the things. Just a few more from that beautiful yet evil set and it's on to the 74's, which I have complete but just need to replace a few cards. I got a solid start on the 68, 70, and possibly 73 along with a card here and there from other sets. I never thought I would have the mid to late 70's done before all the 00's. The master Topps Twins team set (1961-present) in near mint or better is going to look very nice when I have it complete. The biggest chores and expense will be getting a 63 Killebrew and Oliva, 67 Carew, 72 Carew, and near mint singles from the early 60's and the pesky 71 black beauties. I'll just take it slow and pick singles up when the buget and price is right. I'm going to be less picky about condition with the 60's cards and will just upgrade when it is done. Doing this set is bringing me back to collecting for fun. For far too long I've been collecting more for profit than fun.
Yes Virginia, you can still get decent raw cards on eBay (if you don't mind plowing through the riff-raff).
