OT: Can you tell me the best way to ship currency?

I have to mail a crisp bill. Is there a preferred method for doing this? Do you stick it in cardboard, or what? Is it better between cardboard and then box-in-a-box?

Never had to send one, and if it gets mangled, I'm sunk. Help!!! Thanks.

put the bill in in a rigid plastic currency holder...sold at most coin stores and online

I usually take a piece of cardboard, fold it so it is slightly larger than the bill, then throw a few staples (or even a few rubberbands) in.
Be careful not to staple your currency....

That should do the trick...Works for me...good luck

Make sure you ship in a box,not an envelope.

Use the post office Priority Mail boxes. They CAN be registered if you tape them with paper tape.
    Insured requires no taping.
