  • Didn't anybody here ever play quarters?

    I could bounce a clad quarter into a shot glass up to a dozen times in a row. My victims would invariably toss their cookies. image

    A large cent in a barrel of pickles will give them that nice green color. (I often wonder how many of the porous large cents we see today got that way making a barrel of pickles look appetizing.)

    The top of my daughter's wooden dining room table looked "antiqued" and I had to ask the stupid question, "Is this an old table?" "No Dad, we just played quarters on it?" I had to ask again...you know the rest of the story.
