What do you keep your finds in?

Was just curious what everyone else uses. I bought this Plano 737 fishing tackle box a few years ago to act as my treasure chest. It is fairly portable (easy for show and tell), and I'm one of those compartmental type of guys I suppose.

I didn't feel like making a separate thread for diggers, but that has been pretty much my only digger since I started 6 or so years ago. I think it is technically a utility scraper, but it's been great for me. Beaches is about the only time I have to switch tools.

  • after 20 +/- years of digging, my finds are scattered everywhere. i keep my more valuable coins in a safe. some finds are kept in display cases, coffee cans and boxes. common wheats and silvers are in jars. someday i hope to put all finds in groups, according to location.

Neat display. I have my "Winter Jugs" of stuff that I need to clean through that keeps me busy during the snowy months, but other than that, pretty much anything "Cool" is in my tackle box. I keep the coins separate except the bottom drawer, which keeps the clad until it fills up, then it goes to coinstar.

With my schedule, I hit it hard in the spring, then when it gets too hot for me in the summer, I never seem to get back into it in the fall too much, so... so far my tackle box is holding it all. When I hit 20, I hope to be able to fill a dozen tackle boxes image

  • I'm about the same as DD there,I have find's in display's or on a shelf other's stored in tin's and a lock box.
If I'm hunting a demo I keep those find's seperated from the rest as I will make a display for that one site.HH,Tom
