No 20 game winner in the majors this year.

For the first time in major league history there was no 20 game winner, something I believe will be more the norm than anomaly in years to come.

    That is pretty amazing even with how much the starters are protected nowadays.

    Agreed. This will only become more common as five-man rotations are now the norm and pitchers are more frequently scratched for "precautionary reasons."
