I've got my website up finally

I'm new here and thought I'd get some feedback on my new site. It's still not linked to paypal yet. There are a few more additions that I'm working on, like a featured box and a featured ebay listing. I'm doing it myself for the most part. Anyway let me know what you think. It will be live after Atlanta next week.

By the way I think the darkside rocks.

Who are you? Why would you want people to "create an account"?

I asked because you just posted for the first time asking an opinion about a website that gives no indication of who you are despite the fact it has an "about us" page . But you reply as a smart ass. You've answered my question.
  • Sorry I'm used to posting on TGR forum for skiing and over there every post is a smart ass one.
By the way you have a nice site.
That's just the format osCommerce came with out of the box. The main/index page will be different when I get the featured boxes in.

I'm The Sperry Collection by the way, see Canada Registry

About us is going in today. It's still a work in progress.

Nice bright clean simple layout...like it should be. It is easy to read and easy to find your way around. It appears all the buttons/links are working properly. The photos currently listed are very nice quality.
A very nice coin store site !!!!

Decent, but I don't like the navigation. You have to drill down too far to get to the actual coins. I click on "World Coins" and instead of a list of coins I see pictures of continents. Ok, so I click on "Europe" and get.... still no coins. Now a bunch of country flags. I click on "Russia" and YAY! Finally a coin.

    Too much work.

Most storefronts arranged like this give complete listings at each stage, with either the option to browse at will *or* use the continent/country subcategories as an optional way of getting more specific.

Also, some of the prices are a bit optimistic, so you might consider a "Make Offer" mechanism...
  • Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to figure out this exact thing. I want a list of all the coins in the folder, then click the continent to narrow and so on and so forth, I have a guy working on the coding, as well as a make offer button that functions like contact us but goes to a specific email address. I'm also going to have a we buy coins box.

I take all my own pics. I think I need maybe one more light to get the colors to really pop. Now I just have to get everything up.

    Thanks alot.

    Anyone else??
