My new Web Site available for a test drive.... If you like....

I finally broke down and got some new software and new WEB space, to build a new site. Been at it on and off for a week or so,
all of the links are active, you can click on individual coin images to see the larger.

A word of caution the slide shows are slow to down load.

I plan on adding more content as time goes by, but thought I would let y'all take a look and please comments, corrections (typos spelling etc.)
are welcomed.

Thanks fer look'n.... image

The Site>>>> Gems by Glenn

I have only tested it with IE 6.02 using XP and Safari 2.04 on MAC OS 10.48

    Cool website. image

    Nice clean layout and everything!

I love the old British coins!

One thing, though, the Rock and Lapidary stuff on the main page seems a bit out of place with everything else being about coins.

    Nice pictures! image

Glenn, I would make the "coins for sale" in the text a clickable link. I got confused* when I tried to click on it and then figured out I had to go to the top to click.

*yes, I know, this is my normal state.

    Outstanding site, Glenn!
    Former owner, Cambridge Gate collection.
  • Works great in Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.7.

The three colum setup on the coin pages is a little confusing about which reverse goes with which obverse. Can you go to four colums with that web software?

It may just be me, but when you use white letters on a black or other very dard background I have a little trouble reading it unless I highlight it and get a color reversal.

    A great job overall!

  • Thanks for the comments and inputs, I have made some changes, and added more, but still a work in progress.

It's been fun to do, and good way for me to look at my collection where and when ever I want. image

The photos are taken with a Nikon Coolpix 8700, the Amethyst is from Mexico.

Don I fixed that link for you, but it's not on-line yet. image

For now I am sticking with the current layout, but appreciate the comments, may make changes later on....
