Set your white balance. You have a nasty color cast in that photo. You're probably shooting in daylight mode under incandescent lights or somesuch.

Getting closer. Agree about the bluish cast. Cladiator is, I believe, using Photoshop to remove the color cast which is an option if your camera can't get it right on the money.

    Thanks guys!!

I'll see if different lighting makes it right.

The pic is being loaded straight from the camera.

The pictures are pretty good, Manuel. You may want to try natural light of day or indirect lighting to avoid that glare. The setting on your camera should be on automatic and you may want to try a MACRO setting if you have it. Back the lense another inch or two away from the subject if it is in automatic as it appears a lot of detail is missing due to focal problems. Use a black cloth backdrop. If using a flash, position the lense at an angle looking down the coin, instead of straight away from... I'd say: "keep experimenting".

I found out from backing my camera up a little, I get crisper detail. With photo editing programs you can crop it and change or tweak color, contrast and sharpness a little bit, but you can never get rid of OUT OF FOCUS shots by editing.

Here is some gold I shot the other day to show off and then saw how I messed up getting FIRST STRIKE... but alas, it's still gold image. You can see how the glare distorts the detail and how having my camera at least a foot away from the subject actually gives sharper detail.
