Another question about foreign buyers

If you have non-US registered buyers blocked on your auctions, is there a way to allow one of them to bid without lifting the block and allowing everyone to bid?

Yes. But, it is a goofey work-around.

Take the block off, and tell the buyer to enter
his maximum bid. When the bid is in, put the block
    back.

I do it often, but I would really prefer that ONLY
domestic buyers patronize my stores. I have
had some GREAT Canadian buyers, but the
customs forms and the Global Express fees
make the process un-fun on EBAY.

    PayPal Seller-Protection requires tracking,
and only the Express feature offers it.

After I have a foreign customer, I keep them
off of EBAY, and use Internationl MOs. That
keeps the postage fees way down.

Canadian buyers are great, but the PayPal thing
makes it expensive for me and for them.
