I dont think it was misleading. I read it and I saw only 8 cards per pack 8 packs per box at the end of the description.

It sounds like you presented your case very professionally, accepting all blame, and were more than willing to make good on his time, money, and inconvenience.

I agree that although it may have been a long winded listing, it still showed clearly what was being offered. Despite that the seller responded rudely and unprofessionally.

After seeing his response I wouldnt feel bad at all. You were honest, and tried to make good, and his response was uncalled for. Move on and know there is one less person who is worth dealing with on ebay.

The guy has been running auctions like this forever. Cheap blaster boxes with a pic of a high dollar insert. Kinda misleading, but it makes you slow down and read. After you read, you just hit the back button and go on to the next..........

Ya, I thought he was a little rude, but I know many would be too with NPB. To think after 8 years on Ebay the first time I was a NPB was over $30.

I kind of relate it back to the Mantle PSA 9 OC that there was a lot of talk about a few months ago. There was no picture of product and the # of packs was 'hidden' at the bottom of 'legal stuff'.

I think with the Mantle it was just that the OC was not in the title.

It looks like about 3 dozen buyers are 'misled' (or don't read closely) every month. Obviously he knows that listing 'blaster' or 8ct box in his title or at the top of his auction will take away from his bottom line....

I don't get the sellers complaint. He says in the auction that he takes returns and that is essentially what this is, without the shipping of the product.

You were a real stand-up guy for accepting responsibility like you did.
Had I been the seller, there would have been no fees. Mistakes happen for crying out loud - especially over grey-market sales like this with freakin' War & Peace-long descriptions.
