Mailing Cards to Un-Confirmed Addys

I had forgotten about this, but was reminded by an AH
buyer tonight. EBAY CS confirmed it.

If you DO NOT specifically state in your listings that items
paid through PayPal will only be shipped to confirmed
addys, the buyer will prevail in a Non Performing Seller
complaint if you have refused to ship to an unconfirmed
address after the sale has been made.

Either state it in the listing, or be prepared to mail to
where ever the scamster tells you to mail.

The mere blocking of PayPal payments from unconfirmed
addys is not sufficient to protect the seller's position in
the matter.

Good to note. I had talked with T&S about non-us, non confirmed address buyers that attempt to pay via Paypal even if you specifically state that you do not accept the payment in your auction terms. They basically said yes, you could refuse payment, but if they tried to file a non-performing seller charge through eBay they might win.

What a headache eBay and Paypal's rules can be at times. image
