SMR/Pop. Report Help

I've read here on numerous occasions how the SMR is out-of-date in regard to pricing etcetera. But how can the SMR have prices on an entire set of cards that aren't listed in their population report?

SMR lists "values" for every card in the 1938 Churchman Boxing Personalities set and yet there isn't even a listing for this set in the pop report. Huh? I'm sure there's an easy and logical explanation for this but I must plead ignorance.

Hmmm ...

Every time I click on 1938 under Boxing the only thing I get is the F.C. Cartledge Famous Prizefighters. That's it. It doesn't list any other boxing sets for 1938. Did you pay for your PSA membership? I didn't. I just hack in off of zef's account and use it for free.

This is puzzling.
