  • I'll look in my "bulk" mags from that era to see if I have one. I have a 4 ft pile of baseball card magazines from that time period stashed out in the garage somewhere....

  • Oh boy...you have your work cut out for you. Sports, Inc. was a very short lived magazine. It lasted less than 15 months, with March 20th, 1989 being the final issue of publication. So basically, you are looking for the next to last issue ever made of that magazine. Magazine focused on the business aspects of sports and had a limited circulation. Sporting News and SI crushed it. The publisher of Sports, Inc. was Times Mirror, which also publishes Field & Stream, Golf Magazine and Popular Science. I think Times Mirror is the Tribune company, so that may be the way to go to find the issue--if they know how to get it.

    Good Luck.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12
