Is this a trick question??

So I'm selling off a few cards on evilbay and received this question from a buyer....

"hello, i want this item, i'll pay a little extra but i want to know if is possible to ship to my zip code 27103? please respond me ASAP"

Here's the auction auction

Is there something wrong with shipping to North Carolina or is there something confusing in my auction??

  • That's usually the type of message that'll be sent as a scam. You may not recognize the item number so you click on the link to login and they get your password to hijack your account. Don't know if that's the case here...but I've probably received about 5 of these emails (never in my Ebay Messages folder...just via email) in the past couple months so I just delete them.

Yeah I get one like. I want this item, but I need your address to send payment.
    They are pretty slick.

Yeah - I just one today that says:

    Hello,

Sorry for bother you again but i fixed the problem and you can see the item .. ,please visit the item and if you are still interested please contact me ASAP! Thanks, Jennifer.

It had the link to sign in ebay. I did not use the link but logged into ebay as usual and did a search on the ebay number used in the link. Needless to say it showed zero items found for the ebay number. So I just deleted it.

  • i just got a email that looked legit and they asked why my account was suspended. Of course i went in to panic mode and almost clicked the link. Glad I didn't
