MLB Showdown Card Game?

I've played this card game a few times in the past. Anyone else? Also i'd like to get some of these again. I read they don't make them anymore...is it true? and...does anyone want to get rid of theirs? if anyone owns them.

Speaking of baseball "games"........... I spent a couple of years of my youth, playing Strato-matic.......I started with a 1969 set and attempted to run through a complete season, keeping track of stats........( I got about half way there, each team "playing" about 75 games.)

Later I picked up some of the "All-Time great teams" Imagine the '27 Yankees playing the '54 Indians or '34 Cardinals....The '27 Yankees constantly beat their 69 yankee counterparts.............

Ah Yes......good times...

There's still a *very* active Strat community out there. I've been a member of the Brassball league for several years now, and it's great. We're just about to start our playoffs, and I'm hoping to break through to the World Series for the first time. (My team is Metropolis, if you're curious).

Our league has a few openings for next season, if anyone's interested.

I played an old strat o matic with the old man...very fun. I'll have to check up on brassball. all that stuff is great. I'm looking for some oddball stuff in the future for my new born son!!! Thanks!!
