    Frankly, the Saints look like the real deal. And they'll probably get better as the season progresses.

    Agreed, although at some point I think they'll really miss Stallworth.

    They have a really tough go of it the next three weeks:

    Carolina, Tampa Bay, Philly.

    Then after the bye week, the Ravens, TB again, Pittsburgh, Cincinatti, and Atlanta again.

    That's just a murdrous schedule. The more I think about the NFC the more I think the eventual champion is going to have to come from either the West or the North, since the South and East are just so brutal with so many decent teams beating the tar out of each other.

    I don't hold out much hope for the Bucs this year, but they're still a fine football team who are certainly capable of making life hard on any other team in the league on Sunday.
