Ebay problem, help needed

Hey all,

I recently purchased this "display sign" off an Ebay dealer. I got the item today, and it is an advertisement cut out of a newspaper, not a display sign as stated. The buyer states in his auction that he will refund money, but not shipping. I think I should get ALL my money back cause the item was not what he said it was. And besides the fact he charged me $4.99 and spent $1.11 for shipping. I am about to send him this message......

Hello,

I recieved my item today. In the auction it stated it was a "display sign" when actually it is an advertisement cut out of a paper. That is not a sign. I would like a full refund, including what I paid for shipping.

Thank You

And here is the link to the auction.....Spaulding "Display Sign"

Am I wrong for asking for my money back?? Any and all opinions are appreciated!

  • Chalk it up to experience. Unless you see the word cardboard or tin (and most of these are modern reproductions), the item will always be a magazine ad from Life, Look, Post, newspaper or an old sports magazine. It was a cheap lesson learned........

    The title is blatantly misleading.

The listing itself is not misleading.

Also, the picture shows that the item is a
np ad. The seller has many similar ones
listed, but the titles on those are not
    misleading.

Sadly, all I can say in this case is that I
know you will be more cautious next time.
    Cheap lesson learned.
