What does PSA do ...

... when you're submitting something to be graded and you're not sure exactly what it is? I'm thinking about bidding on a Dixie Lid of a baseball player and would want to have it graded if I won but I have no idea the flip info or what to put on the sub form. Do they just figure that stuff out anyway since they have to verify it is what you say it is on the form?
