Hi-
I'm looking for a 70's special at $5 per card/coin. I have a bunch of 70-72 topps football and '71 topps coins waiting to go out if the right special pops up! What is everyone else hoping for?

<< <i>I have an extra $1200 or so kicking around, so I'd really like a $5 modern special, which would allow me to blow a grand or so getting cards slabbed that have no business being graded in the first place. >>
That's why the $5 modern special will come right after tax time--this way there's more people with extra cash around here willing to part with it on grading cards that shouldn't be graded...

<< <i>$5 non-sport. I am sitting on a ton of raw star wars cards.

I don't think you need a non sport special to send them in. I submit non sport cards all the time on any $5 special they run as long as it's within the years stated. Never had a problem.
Examples:
"You call it" special - 50 or more cards from any 1960-present set at $5 each or 25 or more (1960-present) cards of any player at $5 each.
"Rounding era" special - all cards with factory rounded corners (including coins, Slurpee discs, and pins) that don't require tall boy holders for $5.
"Fan's choice" special - PSA members take part in a board survey to pick 10 sets eligible for the $5 per card special.

I wouldn't mind a 'keep it in one set' special whereby you could send in 25 cards + from just one particular set at $5 a card. Your choice of set of course, provided they were all from just one set.
