WTD - 1825/3 quarter w/ "E" counterstamp - in any grade Good up to AU-58. Slabbed or raw, prefer raw. The "E" counterstamp is on the obverse, between the cap and the rim, at the 12 o'clock position. Please PM with scans if you have one for sale.
Also, "Strange Dates" such as 1923-D and 1930-D dimes, 1891 Barber dime, quarter and half, 1931 Standing Liberty quarter, 1933 quarter, 1816 half, 1915 Walking Liberty half, 1928-D half, 1964 Franklin half, 1975 quarter, half and dollar, and 1805 Bust dollar.

As I mentioned in the other thread, Bowers discusses these counterstamped pieces in American Coin Treasures and Hoards, in his section on the Economite Treasure, on page 117.
And I do not buy Breen's theory on these.
