What the heck is the difference in these two Puckett cards?

1992 Stadium Club Skydome Kirby Puckett #144

PSA lists one as W/S Correct and another as NL A/S Error

  • Looks like a label error. Nothing more
  • The Error is in the gold foil stamping at the bottom of the front of the card.

The Correct version reads "1991 World Series"
    The Error version reads "1991 N.L. All-Star"

The 4SC card ser# 815... is mislabeled, as are all of the cards they submit. Referring to this puckett card. I don't know if they don't know what they have, or why PSA doesn't correct this?

It is not that rare of an error card it's probally around 1:10

Nearly 90% of the PSA cards I got from 4 Sharp Corners that are from "Variations" are mislabelled.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I have purchased 2 variation cards from 4SC, each were mislabeled.

  • The folks at 4SC don't really seem to know much about cards, period. Routinely, I see them list cards on eBay by repeating the error on the mislabeled flip. Likewise, they are probably not noting the variations on their PSA submissions forms, and PSA isn't catching these omissions.

If 4SC is doing that on purpose, PSA should be really pissed at them. They do such mass quantity that they could almost destroy the accuracy of the Pop Report for these variations. They probably already have.
