Anyone have a football beckett handy????

Can one of you please look up a couple of cards for me. Neither is listed in the PSA SMR book, and I really want the ungraded value as a reference. I haven't bought a beckett for awhile but wondered if it might be there.

2002 UD Authentics Peyton Manning Authentic Auto
1998 Topps Peyton Manning Auto #A10
2004 SP Authentic Peyton Manning auto #SOTPM Sign of the Times

Thanks for any help.

Hey guys thanks for your help. That helps, here's what I'm thinking, what are your opinions??

I'm not knocking PSA 10's, it's great when you get them. But to me they're a lot like PSA 9's and in my limited income the difference can be staggering. In the past I've sold an 89 UD Griffey PSA 10 for $515 and then bought the 9 for $50. I'd rather have the near identical card and the $450 cash to buy other stuff.

Anyway, I have the 2002 UD Authentics Manning autograph, it's graded PSA 10 and has a population of 2. Sweet looking card. I thought of selling it and picking up a Manning auto in PSA 9 (The two I wanted prices for are two currently on eBay). I thought if I hyped up the population 2 and PSA 10, it might bring enough money to buy one of the other two in PSA 9 and pocket the difference, if there would be any in this case.

    Thoughts?

thanks again for the help, shawn
  • I, for one, dont get caught up in the hype of brand new pack pulled cards pulling a 10. The "rarity" of an autographed card should be enough to carry it in secondary market sales. However for registry purposes, I guess they do have their place. I would definately hype and sell.................

Ideas on a Buy it Now price??

Or start an auction low, hype the population 2/PSA 10, and let it go??

    I would go with option # 2

Hype the low pop number thing. Peyton Manning auto'd in psa 10 form will sell itself plus it will bring in a good chunk of change.
    Godd luck
