Grading conundrum -- old card encased in new card

I came across an auction for this card today and it got me to wondering about how PSA would go about grading it. It's a 2006 Topps Allen & Ginter insert with an original 1887 Allen & Ginter encased inside it.
I suppose if you sent it into PSA they would have to grade just the 2006 part of the card and not both. Even so, the wording on the flip could get a little tricky. An interesting dilemma, I think...

Yeah, I imagine that it's unlikely someone would submit the card as is, but I'm just curious how PSA would handle it if they did.
... as to whether it's trimmed, I don't know, but the back of the card is a mess... lots of paper loss and writing on it.
Then again, they could just reject it altogether because they wouldn't know how to handle it either.
