Question...Is there a difference between....

1971 MLB stamps and 71 Dell stamps, or are they the same thing ?

I just purchased these two Munson stamps from different sources, each sight unseen...the left was listed as MLB stamps, the right as Dell stamps. I have no experience with these, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

They're the same thing. The Major League Baseball stamps were issued only in 1970 and 1971. Dell's were only 1971.

    Thanks for the info.

For submissions they are considered regular cards, correct ?

On the subject of submissions, does anyone know what the discs from the 70's count as ? Are they considered tall boys ? Can they go under the specials this month ?

Because of the "cut line" (i.e., "_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _" ) being missing on the bottom of this card, I wonder if it will it be rejected by PSA as "miscut" or the "wrong size" ???

  • I`m pretty sure these would come back as either miscut, "authentic" with no grade, or not holdered at all.
Personally I wouldn`t send them in.

I think Discs are considered tall boys for grading fee purposes, but I could be wrong.

The MLB Photo Stamps were issued in 1969 and 1970. The were issued in full sheets of cards with printed margins but NOT perforated so they had to be cut from the pages. The Dell Team stamps came on a perforated sheet so need to be remove that way...if cut out with a razor I dont think they will even grade. It looks like one of the ones you got was cut on the bottom edge???
