a little help from platinum collectors please!

Ok I need a little help with this coin.
I bought a 1997w eagle p$10 in an NGC case. It was one of my first platinum purchases. I noticed a distict line under the M in america on the reverse when I bought it but thought that it was part of the design. I didn't think much of it until I purchased another coin and noticed that the line was not present on the other coin. I have only a scanner right now to show what I mean. I jacked up the color to highlight where it is. When viewing the coin in hand the raised area is refective not black as in the scans.

Is this a fake in an NGC case or is it an error?
Should I submit it to NGC for inspection?

I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.
eBaystore
I'd be shocked if it were counterfeit.

If it is a strike thru then I guess my problem would be that it is graded PF69.
Pretty shabby if that is the case. Thanks for the responses , my main fear was that I got stuck with a fake.
as you can see it is pretty obvious in the reverse shot where the flaw is. Can I call NGC on this coin and ask for a properly graded one or will they just say it is what it is?

All of my PCGS platinums seem properly graded
